Our client is looking to identify a Vice President Commercial Operations EMEA to report into the company’s President who is based in the USA and to lead the business across the EMEA region. The candidate will be a key member of the Global Commercial Operations and Executive team. The candidate will be based in the company’s European Headquarters (Amsterdam) or possibly travelling weekly to the Dutch headquarters.
The primary responsibility will be the strategic development and exectution of the commercial strategy aligned to corporate objectives, driving growth with the world class products in the niche urology and respiratory industries where the company has a leading position.

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the Director of R&D will be a strategic partner and advisor
in terms of technology, innovation, intellectual property, know-how, organisational technical core
competency, R&D strategy, product commercialization, program execution and on all matters related
to the technical operations of the business as well as being a key member of the senior management
Candidate “MUST” haves:
A candidate with strong IP experience and also who has managed a successful process that scales up
from development to transfer to large production would be very beneficial.
As the result of the delocalisation of the present Sales Director EMEA to head up the US sales, the
company have decided to search for an experienced sales leader of Medical Devices Capital
Equipment to replace him. The position would ideally be based in Belgium, but other locations are
possible as extensive travel across the region is envisaged for the Sales Director EMEA. The position
reports directly into the Executive Vice President Global Sales who is located in the company’s
headquarters and will lead a team of two European Sales Managers with responsibilities for North
and South of Europe.
The Sales Director EMEA will not only define and execute a regional commercial strategy and lead a
team but will also be involved regularly in the field with the sales managers making high level
compelling presentations to senior hospital management executives in support of business being
initiated and concluded. This is not a desk bound position but one which will require extensive
regular travel working with key opinion leaders and lobbying with decision gate keepers.
