Director Global Sales

Europe based Start-up with a minimally invasive technology for bone fractures

Our client is looking to hire a senior manager and leader with orthopaedic, spine or trauma experience to join its leadership team and head up the company’s commercial organisation. Reporting into the company’s President and CEO who is based in Bordeaux, the Director of Global Sales will take responsibility for leading an expanding team of sales executives in France and international distributors who will, through the development of strong relationships with key opinion leader surgeons and interventional radiologists, lead the growth of the business globally.


Technical Director

Carrick-on-Shannon Based Leading manufacturer of extrusion and catheter based medical devices

Our client is looking to identify a very strong and experienced candidate to become the company’s Technical Director and a member of the Leadership Team based in Carrick on Shannon and reporting into the CEO.

The Technical Director will manage the R&D team of 13 staff including 7 engineers all on site, and so a track record of successfully managing a team is essential. The role of the R&D team is to design and develop best in class innovative catheters and medical technologies for manufacturing in a speedy manner. The responsibilities are to lead a product development team rather than a research function. In addition, the Technical Director will provide the management board with technical and strategic counsel and support the business acquisition process working with customers and the commercial team.

To be considered, any candidate “MUST HAVE”:

  • A degree in polymer or mechanical engineering
  • 5 years’ experience in product development including catheters and stents
  • Leadership experience of at least 3 years of a team of 5 to 10 staff
  • Have the personality of a relationship builder with both peers, customers and staff

EMEA Service Director

Our client is looking to hire an EMEA Service Director responsible for leading the EMEA/UK Service organizations, providing leadership and direction for all aspects of daily operation and strategic service initiatives for the company. The EMEA/UK Service Director will lead the coordination of technical and administrative support activities including installation, repair, preventive maintenance and engineering change upgrades to be performed at client sites.

The position also has responsibility for aligning practices and standardizing processes now that there is a Global Quality System and a Standard Reporting System which are being put in place. The EMEA/UK Service Director must optimize service efficiency across the EMEA region and deliver profitable growth within the region through their team.
