Our client is looking to hire a senior manager and leader with orthopaedic, spine or trauma experience to join its leadership team and head up the company’s commercial organisation. Reporting into the company’s President and CEO who is based in Bordeaux, the Director of Global Sales will take responsibility for leading an expanding team of sales executives in France and international distributors who will, through the development of strong relationships with key opinion leader surgeons and interventional radiologists, lead the growth of the business globally.
Our client has set itself strong objectives for growth and is achieving this by investing in a high quality and performing sales forces in Germany, France and UK. Following the recent resignation of the Territory Manager in the UK Midlands region, our client is keen to quickly hire a replacement because of the growth potential in the Region. The UK sales force reports into the National Sales Manager and will by the end of 2019 comprise of 4 Territory Managers.
We are looking for a strong commercially minded sales executive with a successful track record of selling innovative products to surgeons. It would be also nice but not essential if the candidate possessed a portfolio of spine or trauma surgeon relations, was strong on reporting and excited by the opportunity to work for an innovative start-up.
This position will achieve/surpasse the country's sales goals through the recruitment, training, and motivation of an effective and professional sales channel within Germany. The Country Manager will implement targeted sales strategies that align distributor's and direct sales goals with our client's strategic plan.
This professional will direct and oversees distributors' activities to ensure a clear understanding of the country's specific sales goals and selling practices. He will drive the selling process and support sales activity for major accounts, including direct selling when possible, provide monthly metrics on progress to goals. He will also manage equipment and materials within assigned region in compliance with corporate policies and directives.
The individual for this position will need to have experience in establishing a business as well as a strong sales skill set. Knowledge of how to set up operational functions business administration is necessary for this role.
