The Problem

At the time of this recruitment, our client who is a leading global player in the respective market segment was looking to replace the existing Country Leader. Being the most senior executive in the German organisation, the Country Leader is responsible for the entire commercial activities on that territory, reporting into the VP EMEA, managing a large sales force as well as Market Access and Key Account Managers. We were looking for a strong leader whose primary focus would be to achieve sales and market growth in a strongly competitive environment, by setting and achieving sales budgets and ensuring that targets are achieved. As a member of the European Leadership Team, the Country Leader is also responsible for working with European marketing group on portfolio management and successful introductions of new products in a timely and effective manner.
